About The Author

Michael Papas was born in 1949 in Cyprus and immigrated to the UK in 1966. Not knowing the language he went out to work and not long after started his own business. At the age of 52 Michael resumed his education at the OU and graduated at the age of 55, having studied History and Religion. He then joined Canterbury Christ Church University, qualified as a teacher and began teaching Religious Education in Secondary Schools in Kent. He is married with two children. He is now retired and lives in Kent with his wife.
